1. Only open to UK residents aged 18 years or over. Proof of name, age and address of persons entering the competition may be required to verify identity.
  2. The prize draw excludes the Promoter’s employees, their families, agencies, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
  3. Internet access required.
  4. Four individual winners will be selected to win 4 standard weekend (including camping) tickets for V Festival 2016 (the "Event"). V Festival is held at two parks simultaneously over the weekend of 19th August 2016 to 22nd August 2016 at either V Festival North 2016 at Weston Park, Staffordshire or V Festival South 2016 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford (the "Venue"). Two individual winners will win tickets to V Festival North 2016, two will win tickets to V Festival South 2016.
  5. A standard weekend ticket includes admission and live entertainment across the music stages and access to the food stalls. Included in the prize is a standard weekend camping ticket. A standard weekend camping ticket does not allow you access to the Pink Moon Campsite or the V Style Luxury Camping. If you book for Hylands Park, Chelmsford you will either be allocated the red campsite or the yellow campsite, you cannot switch once a campsite has been allocated.
  6. To take part in the competition on Twitter, reply to the @Carling “promotional tweet” published on Monday 1st August at 12.00pm with a valid answer to the question stated.
  7. To take part in the competition on Facebook, comment on the Carling Facebook page “promotional post” published on Monday 1st August at 12.00 with a valid answer to the question stated.
  8. Entrants must ensure that the Facebook or Twitter account that they have used to enter is active and valid, and that they are contactable on the same.
  9. No purchase necessary. The competition will be open when the “competition posts” are published at 12.00 Monday 1st August (“Opening Time”) to 23.59 Friday 5th August (“Closing Date”). In these Terms and Conditions, the period between the Opening Time and the Closing Date is referred to as (the “Promotion Period”).
  10. Any entries outside of the Promotion Period will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
  11. There will be four prize winners, two for Facebook and two for Twitter, chosen at random once the competition has ended from the Prize Draw. You may state your preference for tickets to either V Festival North or V Festival South and we will try and accommodate your request, however it is not guaranteed that you will get your preferred location.
  12. No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computers will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Any entries not in accordance with the entry instructions will be rejected. Any entries containing offensive or inappropriate content will be removed. The Promoter is not officially affiliated with certain tournaments and therefore entrants should not reference them, hashtag them, or include any other hashtags in their post. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries which do not comply with this.
  13. The Prize winner will be contacted on Twitter or Facebook depending on which competition they entered, and asked to provide a delivery address. Winners must respond to notification of their Prize within 3 days of notification otherwise the right to claim the Prize will be lost
  14. The Prize will be delivered by courier at least 5 days before the festival begins.
  15. If you have not received your prize at least 7 days before the festival starts please contact us via Facebook or Twitter.
  16. Entrants that have not won the Prize will not receive notification that they have not won.
  17. The Prize is as stated only. All other costs and expenses relating to the prize (including, but not limited to, for example, transport to and from the Event, food, spending money, car parking and camping equipment), are the responsibility of the winner unless expressly stated otherwise.
  18. Tickets are given subject to the Venue or Event organisers rights to alter or vary the programme due to event or circumstances beyond its reasonable control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
  19. The Venue reserves the right to refuse admission should patrons breach any rules and regulations of the Venue or the Event. The Venue may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of individuals. With the exception of death or personal injury arising out of our negligence or the negligence of our employees, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, all liability whatsoever on the part of the promoter for any costs, expenses, losses, damages, liabilities, injury or disappointment including any loss of profits, business, contracts, revenues or anticipated savings and whether special, direct, indirect, consequential suffered by you howsoever arising in connection with the prize draw are excluded.
  20. By entering participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions.
  21. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoters reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  22. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate this promotion at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
  23. The Promoter's decision is binding in all matters.
  24. The Promoter can accept no responsibility for, and reserves the right to refuse, entries which are corrupt, incomplete, indecipherable, are not in accordance with the entry instructions or fail to arrive by the Closing Date. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries that are delayed or that are unable to be sent due to lack of network coverage, delays or any other reason beyond the Promoter’s control.
  25. The promoter will only use entrants personal details supplied for the administration of this promotion, and for any other purpose that is expressly consented to.
  26. Name and county of the winner will be available by sending a SAE to Carling V Festival Ticket Giveaway, Molson Coors Brewing Company (UK) Limited, 137 High Street, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire DE14 1JZ  within 28 days of the Closing Date
  27. Winners may be required to participate in reasonable unpaid publicity as specified by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to use the winners name and county and publish those on www.carling.com and the Carling social media pages (Facebook and Twitter).
  28. These Terms and Conditions, this promotion and any other dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by  and construed in accordance with English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  29. Twitter, Inc. and Facebook, Inc. are not a sponsor of this contest and bear no responsibility or liability for the administration, operation, judging, or conduct of the contest, or for the fulfilment of prizes associated with this promotion.
  30. The Promoter does not intend to use this promotion in any way to encourage the excessive consumption of alcohol.
