Craig Macintyre

Power , Determination , No Fear , Cunning and Athletic ... makes Craig MacIntyre the Legend that is Macca.

MacIntyre was the man behind it all and will be always been known in the Grants history books that started it all. Back in May 12th 2007 the Grants was launched and the man to lead them in there first season was taken up by MacIntyre.

The player who actually spent most of his sporting life from the age of 7 as a semi pro swimmer. Though it was at the age of 15 when he was tempted away to take up football. When MacIntyre went to the RAF he took the sport further and developed into the legand that is Macca. After playing for half a season with Halton Fc in England and also taking charge of Halton ATC Under17s and guiding them to 12 straight wins and a charity cup , MacIntyre sufferd a carear threatening injury. After leaving the RAF MacIntyre went into excile and recoverd from his injury. Though a year later he signed along with fellow superstar Mark Mckerrell and joined Ardrossan Thistle in 2003 where he played under Gerry McMillan. MacIntyre left in 2004 and has been busy back at swimming.

Now MacIntyre being the player manager is hoping to get his footballing days back on track. With the Grants players at his beck and call , he sets out to win everything he can. Sponsored by many commercial companies such as Billabong , Sketchers , Xbox Microsoft , Sega and Lynx is a major icon in the entertainment world.

His managing ability`s are at a superb standard for being still fairly young. Guiding the Halton ATC Under 17`s to a charity cup and a 12 straight wins in there league , MacIntyre proved he has what it takes. Hopefully the Grants will exceed under MacIntyre where he has been backed time and time again by Chairman Mckenzie and Public Backer Amo Rodgriguez.
