Danny Coughlan

He joined the club in 1999 as a central defender in his first spell for 2 seasons. He re-joined the club in 2004 and found his ideal position as Striker. That season he was awarded Managers Player. 2005-2006 he was made team captain. That season he was to finish as the top goal scorer with 21 goal in 18 games. Unfortuntely the last game of that season he was to tear his cruiciate ligimant and be sidelined for 16 months. 2006-2007 Danny became the team Manager and steered his team to the semi final of the Halliwell Cup, where they was narrowly defeated by 1 goal.
He is slowly making his comeback this season but is taking it very easy. Keep your eyes peeled as he will be back on form.
