Danny Bailey

Dan Bailey has represented Hesketh Casuals B on numerous occasions but only once genuinely. His debut substitute appearance at Bury GSOB A away in the maiden season remains Cassies only victory over the bogey side, and there can be no disguising his influence. At 4-0, Bailey expertly dummied a shot which allowed Andy Walker to score before playing a pivotal role in the 6th.
Over the years Bailey has played regular football, including a stint at Arganaughts, as well as solid appearances at the Banky Double Cuppies. In the first season the alias Dan Bailey he actually scored 12 goals thanks to Dan Richards.
In recent years his appearances have been restricted by his relocation to Liverpool and severance of Southport ties. The door remains wide open for a player who is considered to be a valuable member of the Cassies squad.
