Dave Walker

David Walker was another senior player to emerge from the Hesketh Casuals Colts Academy to cement his place in the B team. He began his career as a full back, which is where he made his first appearance for Casuals B team in their second season, before moving into the centre of midfield on a more regular basis.

The combative midfielder has made the central midfield position his own in the last couple of seasons and as well as winning most tackles and headers, Walker also contributes in the goals columns. His aggressive, but fair, style of play have won Walker many admirers and he has represented the 1st team on a couple of occasions. Brother of forward Andy, Dave Walker is extremely fit and prides himself on exerting one hundred per cent for 90 minutes week in week out.

David scooped the Manager's Player of the Year Award last year after an impressive season which saw him score some important goals. David is an invaluable member of the squad.
