Born in the mean streets of southport, this player only started playing football at the age of 13 for Argonaughts FC.
With a gap in his footballing career to take up the femanine sport of Field Hockey, it hit his career hard, putting him at the back of the pack when it comes to football.
Until...
Sat at home one day, the telephone rang and it was the familiar voice of Paul Hames, the gaffer. After hammering out a contract for Cassies B, Fellowes was more than happy to start the 1st game of his Lancashire Amature career with the southport club.
Living with Matthew Valentine, he underwent a strict training and health routine, organised by the former semi-professional goalkeeper, which proved to be the turning point.
Fellowes picked up 4 club awards in his first season. Tw@t of the year two years running....as well as Top Scorer two years running.
A shortage in midfield and the fact that Hames had signed two superb strikers gave Fellowes his chance to change his game and adapt to a central midfield situation...he embraced this and had what he considers to be his best season at the club. - Only scoring 5 goals, but helping the team to a 4th place finish.
In this current season Fellowes has returned to the central striker position and is back on the scoring sheets, helping himself to 10 goals so far. Forming a decent strike partnership with both Derek Sykes and Andy Walker.
