Mark started life as a centre back during The Downs 1st season. In a turbulent season that was more of a learning curve than anything else, he also managed to playe in midfield and up front, scoring 8 goals. He then ventured into the difficult world of running his own side, but found it to be a pain more than anything. Since then he has rejoined back with The Downs and chose to become our Chairman as well as an accomplished centre midfielder, winning the managers Player of The Season his best achievement to date.
