Helped set up the team and get the initial players in. Before the team had kicked a ball in anger I tore the cruciate and that was me. A year before the operation and then the recovery put paid to my playing days. Anyway, this presented me with the oppertunity to become team secretary and assistant manager and later full manager.I think this better suited the team and the job continues.
