Montgomery FC goalkeeper enters Pub Football folklore!

Check out this extraordinary goal, scored by Montgomery FC's goalkeeper, Steve Goodwin.

There seemed to be little danger when the 28-year-old stopper placed the ball just outside his own penalty area, ready to punt it upfield. But it was evident from the second the ball left his right boot that there was trouble ahead for Trewern United's goalkeeper 75 yards away!

The players turned their heads to the sky and watched the ball sail over them towards goal, as the Trewern keeper frantically began to back-pedal. But it was all in vain. The ball whistled over his head and landed firmly in the back of the net, sparking delerious celebrations!

The million dollar question is..... did Steve Goodwin mean it? Well, looking at his own celebration, he seems to be claiming he did!
