Both started the match however goalkeeper Niall had to be replaced at half time after injuring his back whilst saving a one on one. The NASAFA team started their first game together poorly and were 3-0 dow at the break. They began to gel in the second half and brought the score level to 3-3 before losing a goal that proved to be the winner. It could have been 4-4 but a great save in the final minutes by the West goalie meant that the score stayed at 4-3.
