Another Comfortable Win For The Oak Sees Them Return To The Top Of Division One.

The Oak went into this tie against InterSoccer Allstars with a skeleton squad.

Sean Boland, Martin White, Andy Palombella and Michael Cooney were all missing from this game.

Claudio Jordan took up the position between the sticks. Because of the amount of players missing, Dave Minney was forced to return from his broken toe prematurely

The Oak won comfortably 4-0, with goalscorers including Lorenzo Jordan and a cracking curling shot by Liam Bolandâ¦ With his right foot!

Dave Minneys solid performance at the back and a couple of wonder saves by Claudio Jordan ensured that The Oak kept another clean sheet and that they conceeded the least goals this season.

Sharnbrook could only manage a draw with Offa Road FC, So The Oaks result takes them back to the top of the table by a point.

There is no game next week because of the bank holiday but the following week sees what could be the title decider as The Oak host Sharnbrook Hotel in what promises to be a cracking game.

Sharnbrook will not only be looking to return to the top of the league, but they will be out for a little revenge following the Oaks 2-1 win earlier in the season.
