Tom Treddlehoyle have reached the semi-final of the supplementary Trophy by beating Shaw Inn 6-2. It was a hard fought contest and Shaw played very well, particularly in the first half. Tred squandered chances before Shaw broke away and scored with a well taken effort. At the interval, director of football Matthew Collins had a few harsh words for the team and whatever he said seemed to work as they came out and completely controlled the second period. They equalised as Warren Jackson ran clear onto a Martyn Scully through ball and slotted home after rounding the keeper. Lee Garside then scored with a cheeky back heel before the introduction of Ryan Barlow changed the game entirely. Garside scored from close range and then Barlow scored a 20 minute hat-trick with three outstanding finishes.
