Right fellas - as you may or may not be aware I will be stepping down as manager next season. I will be playing every week but the days of sweeping up the changing rooms, collecting subs, finding a ref and picking up dog shit will no longer be fortnightly obligation, unless asked by the new manager. I will be on hand to help the new manager with any info on how to do things with forms etc. There have so far been two names thrown into the hat. The well publicised interest of Barry Fellowes has raised some eyebrows, whilst Matt Valentine has also offered his services as, either, joint with Baz (ala Roy Evans/Gerrard Houllier) or on his own. This subject has been created to get everyone's opinions of next years manager as it will be up to everyone to vote the new man in at the AGM.

....Safe to say the tactical knowledge of Valentines 30yr old brain would be a bonus.

Fraid not gringo - i'm bowing out for good this year. 4 years is enough for anyone. i will be there every single week and the new manager can rely on me never crying off. just looking forward to not worrying about everyone else this time! i think matt valentine or baz would be splendid managers.

just a note to say its monthly meetings at the cassies club - the first monday of every month. not sure if i've posted this elsewhere but theyre usually 30 minute meetings from 8.30pm.

As the league might just need one name - if it all goes through obviously - Baz agreed to me as official manager and him as assistant. a 55% - 45% kind of thing. just so i can veto him when he tries to drop you !! ;-)
