after two draws against skipton in the league which the team feel were dropped points a win against them in the cup would be just dessert. with the referee failing to show and both teams ready to start. s.t.f.c. manager agreed to ref the game, celtic were off to a lively start with ben and rossy looking to attack down the wings, jp and dicko going forward from midfield and dom n diggler chasing about up front, shots went in from all, dicko having a couple, dom testing the keeper as well as diggler but the final killer ball was missing, this was much the case of the first half, UNTIL ben latched onto a ball and slotted home, 1-0 but it was short lived, skipton attacked caught trawden cold and it was 1-1, game on, it wasn't long though from a corner, the ball fell to cal who fired home a volley, 2-1. come the second half, again trawden kept on attacking shots fired in from all angles, the skipton keeper making great saves, tipping over a great volley from dom being one of numerous, crabster came on for watty to sure up the defence! and the welcome site of eddy (back from injury) on for diggle was another plus sign. in the end the only problem crossy had to deal with was his hair, the defence held strong, semi's here we come, the only thing standing in the way of a final spot is self belief, we had more shots in this game than our last five, lets continue it.
