The last 3 weeks have seen mixed fortunes for Greyhound as their topsy turvy season continues. Firstly Greyhound beat Barlencia 2-0 in a game they dominated from start to finish. 2 second half goals from the rejuvinated Dave Holmes and Stu Mooney doing the damage.
Up next were title favourites Castle Vale and Greyhound huffed and puffed before going down 4-0 against a good side.
Finally this weekend saw Greyhound gain revenge for an earlier season defeat against Falcoln Lodge. Greyhound were 3 up inside 30 minutes, with Matt Addison scoring his first for the club from a Phil Hickingbottom corner and returning top goalscorer Sean Dunne (pictured) scored 2 after excellent work on both occasions from the impressive Dave Holmes. Lodge scored 2 late goals to make it interesting but by then Greyhound had failed to convert many chances. The 'new' forward pairing of Dunne and Holmes was particularly impressive and bodes well for the future.
