Not a great display, but another victory means Greyhound continue to climb back up the league table.
With man of the match Matthew Addison making his outfield debut at centre half, Greyhound never really looked in any danger of conceding in the first half. However neither did they really look that threatening!
The second half saw a few more chances being created with Greyhound having the lions share of possesion and chances. Richard Leighton was have a fine game keeping goal and the whole of the back four looked solid enough. In the 70th minute Old Horns struck on the break to take the lead. A loss would have been very difficult to swallow and Greyhound needed to show some grit and determination. This they did and sub Stu Mooney (pictured)was creating room and havoc up front since his arrival in the 62nd minute. Indeed Stu Mooney set up the equaliser when he got to the by-line before crossing hard and low for big Joe Allen to bundle home the equaliser. Greyhound were now visibly lifted as a unit and when the impressive Aaron Addison was upended 25 yards out, up stepped the excellent Joe Mackey to curl home a blinder!....... Game, set and match to Greyhound!
Barlencia next week in another difficult league battle for 3 more valuable points.
