Greyhound back to winning ways

17th February, 2008

After a few weeks of indifferent results and performances Greyhound returned to winning ways against Dresden Malt shovel with a strong 2-0 victory.
After the demise of 2 teams from the league Greyhound had lost 10 points and had dropped to 3rd from bottom of the table after sitting well placed at 3rd from top. So, 3 much needed points were gained.
The hard working James McEvoy (pictured)opened the scoring for Greyhound when he finished smartly after good work from Joe Allen. Some excellent football was played by Greyhound with most players involved. Aaron Addison and Captain Mick Finn dominated midfield with Jon Allen and Joe Mackey very assured at the back. Tom Twort put in another man of the match performance from right back and he was responsible for the move that ended with Mick Finn finishing expertly to wrap up the points.
