'Stualdinho' hits home as the shooting boots are dusted off and Wylde Green are hit for 6!!

18th November, 2007

Greyhound finally found their shooting boots against a struggling Wylde Green side when they hit them for 6!
Goals from Joe Allen (2), Joe Mackey, Stu Mooney, Sean Keeley and of course Sean Dunne (10 in 10 now) done for Wylde Green. 16 year old Cavan Baxter is enjoying a run in the side and impressing everyone as he claimed the man of the match award for the second week running, this time he gnabbed the prize from the excellent Mick Finn and keeper Richard Leighton who kept Greyhound in the game for the first half an hour! Once the first goal went in it was one way traffic with Baxter pulling the strings all over the pitch and every player contributing well. Highlight of the game though was 'Stualdiniho' Mooneys (pictured) mazy run with the ball from the half way line before rounding the keeper and slipping the ball home! Not bad from the right back!
