15th June, 2008

Here is a run down of the changes for next season:
I will continue as player/manager with Lee Gilbey as assistant
Ronnie Kennedy will continue as Secretary
Jamie Newman has taken up a new position within the club as fundraiser
Players leaving the club are: Captain Jay Portrey (transferring - rumoured to Sawmill but no confirmation from anywhere, Jay has only confirmed he has left the club) Joe Baines will not be signing for the club (again, rumoured to be joining the Sawmill) Bob Clark (Retiring) Wai Ming Chan (Retiring). I would like to thank all of the above for their services to the club.
The club captaincy will go to vote this season as discussed, and I will either choose captains for pre-season games or take it myself. The vote for captaincy and vice-captaincy will take place at the end of pre-season. I will inform over the next few days about our AGM and details for pre-season.
I would weigh you all to see how many 'fat bastard' pounds have been put on over the summer, but I'd have to get on the scales first so sod that!!!!!!
See you all in a couple of weeks
Cheers
Steve
