A war of words has erupted between FC Digica and Forum 90 this week

The Forum 90 press office released the 'official' match report today on the weekend's clash between the two NSFL Intermediate Division 1 promotion hopefull's. Clearly a disappointed Forum press officer has taken to undermining Digica's glorious fight back from 3-1 down by launching a string of petty and inaccurate comments regarding the baby blues.

After claiming Digica were 'a side looking anything but a top of the table outfit' Forum then questioned the ability of the in form baby blues to keep up this early winning streak citing 'Whether Digica can maintain their flying start to the season is open to debate. There is lots of football left to be played this season and it will be interesting to see where both teams stand when the re-match comes around in the spring.'

A further attack was launched on the Digica Faithful Fog Horn Rushby and man of the moment Gaffer french by adding ".....their centre half whom judging by the reaction of the Digica "fans" on the sideline doesnât get on the score sheet too often nodded home......"

Clearly this Forum 90 press reporter has the integrity of a Vietnamese prostitute (unlike the 100% impartial scribes that narrate the poetic, mezmorising and freeflowing football that FC Digica portray on a daily basis) despite this Gaffer French has called for calm within the Digi camp. O dog was quoted as saying 'Sounds like a little bit of sour grapes to me, it was a tight game which was contested well but in the end i think we did enough to win it. I have to admit i agree that no one could have predicted the start we have had and to be leading the league with 6 games played is a great acheivement - but we've got to forget the past games and focus on whoever tries to take our 100% record. It is a long season and we've 16 games to play, by my calcultions if we win every one of those we will most likely win the league'.

French's comments clearly coming after a few celebratory goal scoring shandys'.

Set aside the weekend that these teams meet again for it shall truely be a game to remember, from this weekend's events we can expect a banquet of mind games to commence weeks before the ball is placed on the centre spot too - surely adding spice to this Vindaloo of a game.
