LATEST NEWS FLASH - TUESDAY 29TH APRIL 2008 - WINNERS OF THE CUP FINAL 2007 -2008
We were established in 1928 joining the Lancashire and Cheshire League where it remains as one of its longest serving members.
Our original pitches we shared with the Grammar School were Paulden's Fields on Talbot Rd alongside Lancashire Cricket Club, sadly now an office block.
From there we moved to the playing fields opposite the "Old Cock Hotel" Stretford with a clubhouse and facilities, occasionally spilling over to Turn Moss playing fields during busier seasons. Eventually with the demise of these facilities Turn Moss became a permanent venue for all teams for a few years in the early 1990's.
We moved to the excellent facilities owned by Manchester University on Carrington Lane known locally as the Shell Social Club which we occupied until the end of the century before being forced out to make way for Manchester City Football Club to use as a training complex.
We have been at our current home "The Coach House" or "The Lacrosse Club" on Flixton Fields since the year 2000. With a licensed clubhouse and function room.
