Entries for the prize draw will be accepted until 30th September 2011, limited to two entries per person, per day. By participating in this promotion, you are confirming that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

  1. This promotion is open to residents of the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Molson Coors Brewing Company (UK) Ltd, its agents, and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion, including their immediate families.
  2. To participate in the promotion, find your 12-digit promotional code underneath each ringpull on any promotional can of Carling. Alternatively, visit the nearest participating bar and purchase a pint of Carling to receive a promotional game card for an equal chance of winning.
  3. The Perfect Pint promotion is available on the following Carling multipacks: 4-pack (440ml), 4-pack (500ml), 4-pack (568ml), 8-pack (440ml), 10-pack (440ml), 12-pack (440ml), 15-pack (440ml), 20-pack (440ml) and 24-pack (440ml). The game cards are available for purchases of one pint of Carling during the promotion.
  4. To enter using a ring pull code, visit www.carling.com/perfectpint and follow the on-screen instructions or you can text your code to 78999. Standard network rates apply for text entries – typically, 10-12p. Texts may not be included in any bundle of free texts, text package and/or talk plan – check with your network operator. Please ask the permission of the bill payer before sending a text message. Entries via Carling.com/perfectpint will receive an on-screen notification to confirm whether or not you have a winning code. Should you have a winning code, your prize will be confirmed in an email within 24hrs, sent to the email address you give at point of registration. Entries via text will receive a free bounce back text confirming whether or not you have a winning code. Allow 24 hours for receipt of this text to account for network delays. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any messages that are lost or delayed, or which are unable to be sent owing to lack of network coverage, operator or network error, or for any other reason beyond its control. Both methods of notification will also include details of the prize you have won and directions on how to claim this prize using the online claim registration form.
  5. We reserve the right to verify that winners possess a genuine winning code or winning message, so you must retain your promotional Carling ring pull or game card after entry into the promotion. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs, such as for postage and packing, ink or paper, incurred as a result of winning a prize in this promotion.
  6. Codes have no cash value and may not be sold or exchanged. Other manufacturer's references or printing errors do not constitute codes. Each valid code can only be entered once. If you are unable to read your pack code, if it is incomplete, or if you have any other queries concerning the Promotion, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions on this site or use the Contact Us form. Alternatively, you can call the Carling consumer helpline on 0845 7112244.
  7. Entrants via the promotional game cards will be able to see whether they have a winning game card by peeling back the tab to reveal the message underneath. Details on how to claim your prize are given on the game card. Some prizes are available to collect immediately at the bar and the remaining prizes will need to be claimed online at carling.com/perfectpint. Please refer to the specific message on your game card for instructions. If you receive an instant win game card, please speak to the bar manager to claim your prize.
  8. All winners, except those claiming prizes directly at the bar, must first complete the registration details on Carling.com/perfectpint to redeem their prize, regardless of method of entry. Online winners will be required to provide their name, address and mobile number to enable the Promoter to verify and fulfil the prize. Failure, on the part of an entrant, to satisfy the Promoter that he/she is over 18 years of age, will result in that entrant forfeiting any prize he/she may otherwise be entitled to.
  9. Entries are restricted to 2 per person, per day. Each code may only be used once to enter the 1 in 10 Prize promotion but can be used once more to enter into the Carling Perfect Pint Experience competition only.
  10. There is a 1 in 10 chance of winning a prize from the total prizes available for the Perfect Pint Prize promotion. There are also 5x Experiences worth up to £15,000 each to be won in the Carling Perfect Pint Experience competition.
  11. All participants must have access to the internet, except those claiming prizes directly from the bar.
  12. There are over 12 million prizes to be won in total.
  13. Prizes available are: 75,000 x £200 Ticketmaster gift vouchers, 2,500x Carling Weekenders, 50x pairs of 2012 Carling match tickets, 40x pairs of 2011 Isle of Wight Festival tickets and 15x pairs of 2012 NME Awards experiences.
  14. The £200 Ticketmaster voucher is an e-voucher code to be redeemed via Ticketmaster website and will be sent to winners emails. Winner and guests must be over 18. To redeem, simply choose any event from the hundreds available on the Ticketmaster site and enter your unique Carling e-voucher code in the box provided on check-out. Ticketmaster will use your e-voucher for full payment for your order, providing it is less than the value of £200, or part-payment if the value of your tickets exceeds £200. If your order is less than £200, you will be able to retain the remaining balance on your unique e-voucher code and use it as full or part payment towards the purchase of further tickets on another occasion. The e-voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of this notice.
  15. The Carling Weekender prize is a bespoke event to be organised by Carling and the winner. The event will be created by Carling following consultation with the winner. All guests of the winner who attend the bespoke Weekender must be aged 18 years or over. There is no cash alternative. Food must be included as part of your Weekender prize. The maximum number of guests permitted is 20x people. The winner will be required to participate in promotional photography at their Weekender event. Weekender event must entirely completed by 30th November 2011.
  16. Carling match tickets consist of a pair of tickets to the Carling Cup Final match in 2012 or, for Scotland residents only, to the Scotland vs Lithuania match on 6th September 2011. Winner and guest must be over 18. The Promoter may re-award event ticket prizes if winners are subject to an order preventing their attendance at public events. The winner and their guest are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the match.
  17. Festival Tickets are a pair of VIP tickets to the Isle of Wight Festival from 10th -12th June 2011. All Isle of Wight Festival tickets must be claimed by 26th May 2011. Winner and guest must be over 18. The Promoter may re-award event ticket prizes if winners are subject to an order preventing their attendance at public events. Isle of Wight 2011 Festival tickets may not be sold or transferred to another party. In the event of the entire Festival being cancelled, you will be offered a ticket at a rescheduled event but no cash alternative will be offered. The Isle of Wight Festival Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to the Venue or eject any person from the Venue and reserves the right to alter or change the Festival programme without prior notification. Refunds will not be issued should the programme be altered or if a particular artist does not appear. It is the responsibility of the winner to pay for and make their own travel arrangements to and from the Festival site. No meals or beverages are included in the prize.   18. 2012 NME Awards Experience consists of a pair of balcony tickets to the 2012 NME Awards, plus one nights’ accommodation in London and transfers to and from the event. Winner and guest must be over 18. UK mainland travel to London will be covered up to a value of £100 between winner and guest. In the unlikely event of the NME Awards being cancelled, the Promoter will endeavour to provide a ticket to the rescheduled event but no cash alternative will be offered.
  19. For entry via a RINGPULL, there are also: 9,359,111x 50p money-off coupons redeemable against your next purchase of a 4-pack Carling multipack (except Scotland residents, see clause 19) and 2,563,342x Limited Edition Carling pint glasses available to be won.
  20. Winners of the 50p money-off coupon will be able to obtain the coupon via a downloadable link, which will be emailed to them following confirmation of the prize. No software download is required but recipients must have access to a printer to print out the coupon.
  21. Glasses hold one pint (568ml) and feature the Carling Perfect Pint logo. Glasses will be despatched via Second Class post within 28 days.
  22. For entry via a GAMECARD, there are also: 200,000x Carling Portable Mobile Phone Chargers, 200,000x Carling Earphones and 200,000x Carling T-shirts to be won instantly, in participating licensed bars only. For outlets belonging to the Ember pub company, there are also 100x free side dishes to be won.
  23. The promotion starts on 18/04/11 and closes at midnight on 31/07/11. Code entries made prior to this promotional period will not be accepted.
  24. Due to some prizes consisting of specific event tickets, these prizes must be claimed within 24hrs of winning. Additionally, all prizes must be claimed by the end of the promotion on 31/07/11. If you win a prize by redeeming a ring pull code, the claim procedure deadline for your prize will be clearly stated in the bounce back message online or bounce back text. If you win a prize via a promotional game card, instructions on how to claim and the claim deadline will be stated in the message underneath the peel and reveal tab. The Promoter may re-award event ticket prizes if winners are subject to an order preventing their attendance at such events.
  25. Codes entered after the main prize promotion has closed, between 01/08/11 and 30/09/11 inclusive, will be entered into a final prize draw to conclude the promotion in which the following prizes will be available to be won: 250x Carling Limited Edition pint glasses and 100x £200 Ticketmaster gift vouchers. The winners will be drawn by an independent third party at random from all entries received during this period. The winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the close of the draw. Prizes will be delivered to the winner within 28 days of the win notification email.
  26. All prizes will be confirmed to winners by telephone or email within 28 days of claim verification, with the exception of the time-sensitive ticketed event prizes when winners will be confirmed following verification of the winning ring pull or game card within 7 days. In the event that the Promoter cannot contact any winner within 28 days after taking all reasonable steps to do so, it reserves the right at its absolute discretion to award the prize to a substitute winner. In the event of an entrant's mobile number changing or the mobile phone being lost, stolen or damaged, the Promoter is not able to retrieve and amend any existing entries to a new mobile number.
  27. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified.
  28. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms & Conditions and entry into the promotion is deemed to signify acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  29. Carling 50p money-off next purchase coupons are not available as prizes to entrants from Scotland, due to restrictions in local licensing regulations. The alternative prize available for Scottish residents is a Carling Limited Edition pint glass.
  30. A maximum of 5 prizes can be won per person, throughout the promotion.
  31. No responsibility can be accepted for entries or claims lost, delayed or not received for whatsoever reason.
  32. No cash or alternative prizes are available but in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  33. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate this promotion at any time due to circumstances beyond its control. Limitations of liability: neither the Promoter nor the promotional parties assume any responsibility or liability for: Any incorrect or inaccurate code entry, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions. Any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of codes at any point in the operation of this Promotion. Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this Promotion. Non- or late receipt of text messages due to operator or network error.
  34. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for loss or injury as a result of any winner's use of a prize. However, nothing in these terms will operate to exclude or limit any liability for death or personal injury arising from the Promoter's negligence.
  35. The Promoter’s decision is binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  36. Winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity as specified by the Promoter.
  37. A list of the winner’s names and counties can be requested by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to: Carling Perfect Pint Experience Prize Winners, BD-Network Ltd., Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6PQ after 30th September 2011.

Alternatively, visit the nearest participating bar and purchase a pint of Carling to receive a promotional game card for an equal chance of winning.
  3.   5. There are 5x Perfect Pint Experience prizes available to be won, each worth up to a maximum value of £15,000 inc VAT. To enter, buy a promotional multipack or pint of Carling to receive a unique promotional code and visit www.carling.com/perfectpint. Using the fields provided, tell us what would be your Perfect Pint Experience, in no more than 150 characters, and submit your entry before the closing date of 31/07/11.
  6. Judging Criteria: Your Perfect Pint Experience should tell us WHAT you would be doing, WHERE you would be and WHO you would be with. A template is provided on Carling.com to help you create your entry. Entries must be original and consist of all your own ideas. Our judges are looking for entries that are surprising and imaginative, funny, big or bold. However, entries that include inappropriate or offensive content, including content which might breach areas of the Portman Group Code or represent dangerous or distasteful behaviour will not be accepted into the Perfect Pint Experience competition.
  7. All entries received by the closing date will be reviewed by the Carling judging panel, including an independent judge, after 31/07/11. The judging panel will select their favourite five entries from all eligible entries received, which each answer the Judging Criteria as set out in clause 5.
  8. If an idea is selected as winning entry, Carling will turn the idea into a real Experience for the winner to share with their mates. The final Experience received will be subject to a budget of £15,000 including VAT. The winners will receive full consultation on the theme and content of their prize. Winning ideas may also be subject to some modification to make fulfilment within budget possible.
  9. Winners are responsible for the arrangement and all related costs of valid travel documentation required to undertake their prize Experience.
  10. Five winners will be selected by the judging panel and notified in writing by 15/08/11.
  11. The names and counties of the 5 winners will be announced on Carling.com by 30/09/11.
  12. There are no cash or other alternatives to the stated prizes and, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the prizes will only be awarded directly to the prize winners.
  13. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or not received for whatsoever reason.
  14. By entering the Perfect Pint Experience competition, the entrant agrees that the submitted shall become the property of Carling and may be used, copied, sublicensee, adapted, transmitted, distributed, publicly performed, published, displayed or deleted as Carling sees fit. The entrant also waives all rights in and to the material submitted, including without limitation the copyright therein, and waives any so-called moral rights to which the entrant may otherwise be entitled and agrees that the entrant shall not be entitled to any compensation, credit, or notice whatsoever in respect of any material submitted, and waives the right to make any claim against Carling relating to any such material, including without limitation unfair competition, breach of implied contract or breach of confidentiality. By entering this competition the participant agrees to handing over their copyright of entry to the Promoter. The Promoter will not return any entries.
  15. Winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity as specified by the Promoter and may also be requested to document their Experience prize using digital photography (camera equipment will be provided).
