HOW CAN WE IMPROVE ONE-ALL IN 2008?

We're currently having a look at how we can make the One-All service better in 2008 and we were wondering if you have any ideas on what we can do to make it more useful? All ideas are very welcome...

I know the season has just only begun but at the end of the season we stop playing and all the goal posts are takin down. An other beer brand have a cup competition where the final is played at one of the top grounds in England. Or maybe you could organize friendly games between team from around the country. Just an idea Chris Wood

scott from Alloa

how about on the fixture list you can put in the goal scorers and top scorer list for the season. and some kind of prize for coming 2nd or 3rd post mean prizes.and i agree wid lee a stats calender would be a great idea. thanks scott

Gordon from Lanark

thats a fantastic idea wully, Carling could have their very own cup (for each of the home nations, scotland, england so on) in scotland the semi- finals and final could be played in ibrox, parkhead and hampden, then the 4 teams who win the final could play in a compitition in to see who is best in britan. that would be awsome

Jamie from Bellshill

as part of the one all branding there should be a football tournament involving all the teams registered

How about a notice board on the home page showing teams who want pre-season friendlies, tours etc so that individuals can contact them direct instead of looking through team sites. I had to do this some time ago when i organised a pre-season tour to preston, it was a nightmare but luckly i manged to sort 2 teams out.

lee from Lakes United FC

How about a stats calender where we can tell our players exactly how they are doing in the season? This could be done through a basic table where we upload the rating 1-10 and also goals, cards (If any) Take note Lakes. Also then they can push themselfs to be top goal scorer, MOM or even Donkey of season if they want.

I saw that when we update the fixture of our team we have the chance to calificated our players, but when we do it we can´t see or other people too. I don´t nowk if you understad me, but one great idea I think is the chance that this calificacion could see in the page Thanks best luck Celtic Rosario fc

I know what most of us think about the man in the middle HA! HA! but what about an award for the best. Each league could nominate a whistler and why could encourage better communication, explanations for decisions?

Lee from Redcar, Cleveland

A possibility for carling to improve pub football is to bring back the old system of white ring pulls on the cans. This was a really good system as it brought money into carling and also allowed teams to have a few fund raisers and get the team working together to collect.

Gareth from Cadishead

I agree with Mark from Manchester, Some sort of prize for finishing 2nd 3rd etc in post means prizes. Gives teams more incentive to post so to speak.

alex from kilwinning

Cross Border Games would be good and Blackpool is on our doorstep, iam sure all teams within N.A.S.A.F.A. could make that trip, Maybe carling could set up a home Nations cup to be held in the fun town of Blackpool? FB (MINTY)

I have two things which I would like to see available for next season, Is it possible for the site to include the number of visits people have made to it, at the moment I have no idea how many visitors to our site there have been, so I cannot tell if it is more poular than our previous site. Secondly a result card facilty should be made available so that club secretaries can do a team sheet and match report on line direct to the site. Other than that the site is excellent, keep up the good work Jeff Klarik Secretary Hull and District Veterans League

WILLIAM from PORT GLASGOW

HOW IS THIS FOR AN IDEA! I AM THE MANAGER OF BOBBY'S BAR WHO WON THE PLAY ON THE PARK AT IBROX AND WHAT AN EVENT IT WAS, THANKS CARLING. SO WHAT ABOUT TAKING IT ONE STEP FURTHER. EACH CLUB LISTED TO YOUR WEB SITE COULD PLAY AGAINST EACH OTHER TAKING THEIR LEAGUE SCORES ON CERTAIN DATES AND MATCHING AGAINST A TEAM FROM WHEREVER IN THE COUNRTY PLAYING THE SAME DAY THE SCORES CHECKED AND THE WINNING TEAM GOING THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND. THIS COULD ALSO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE FROM THE CLUBS INVOLVED AS THEY KNOW THEY NEED TO SCORE GOALS TO PROGRESS IN THE 'CARLING FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE' I WOULD BE INTERESTED TO HEAR YOUR VIEWS AND AGAIN MANY THANKS AND KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. YOURS IN SPORT WULLIE

It would be good if you could customise where abouts the content is on the page i.e. drag and drop the photos section higher or move the videos across.

lee from Redcar

Some time ago now, Carling allowed teams to collect football kits, tshirts and other items through the collection of can ring pulls. This was a great idea and allowed the smaller teams in my area to look great through this scheme. Coukd this be brought it again?
