Sunday 12th October saw BT Badgers Travel to Felixstowe Dolphins!

On a cold Foggy Sunday morning, BT got off to a very quick start!
Guy and Rossi causing several problems to the Dolphins backline.
Backhouse was looking rather ruff and could neva really get it in the game!
Greg got a roll in the centre with V-Man being away on international duty.

The Break through came after 15mins when guy was sent throught one on one with dolphins keeper after a long ball from lee. Guy made no mistake in toe puntin the ball in the bottom corner! 1-0 BT
We continued to dominate the game and it wasnt long before the rat was making the margin bigger with a left foot strike in the top corner. 2-0 BT.
The game still followed a simular pattern with the defence looking strong and having very little to do. But then up steps Dixie!!!!!!!!!! The first Dolphin goal came after 30 mins when the ball was scambled through the middle of the park and hit straight at dixie and he decided to get out of the way of it!! Just like all good keepers would!!! 2-1 BT
It wasnt long before it was 2-2 a routine cross from the left saw Dixie claim the ball on his line before falling back and throwing it in his own net!!!! You need to see it to believe it!!! 2-2 Now.
Badgers have still been dominating the game with Rossi missing a couple of good chance with his head, but always looking dangerous!
On the stroke of half time up steps Big Show a missed control from backhouse falls to his feet 2yards out and he slips the ball home!! 3-2 BT

Half Time

The second half saw one change to the side capello off and silver fox on!
BT were a bit shakey at the start taking a little time to settle. dolphins had a couple of chances to draw level but the back four stood strong in the end.
Greg was still shooting from everywhere!! but BT failed to create many clear cut chances! Thanks for the thought balls AL!!!!!!!
Due to the lack of creativity backhouse dropped back to centre half and stiffy came in the centre. Before long there was a goal mouth scramble and the Dolphins managed to bundle the ball home!! Looked like handball from where i was!!!
BT had neva really got going second half and decided to make a change 10mins from time......... lee off sam on!
Sam made a good contribution and was trying to get on the end of big shows cross when it droped in the top corner! 2 crosses now the this season for big show!!!! 4-3 BT
There was now only seconds remaining and thanks to a late tackle from backhouse BT held strong for a vital win!

Final score 4-3

Top of the League for a second week running!!

Great report Ross especially your choice for MOTM I'll cherish every minute of Dixie's performance .......... one advantage of playing at the back (we're so much closer to the action!!).
