from the first minute we knew we were in for a hard game, celtics football was excellent but the opposition had other ideas and tried to rough us up but to there credit all through the match trawden players kept there calm and let there feet do the talking. with a full strength squad to choose from players were going to miss out but they all came along to cheer on there teamates, after creating early opportunities in the first half with dom and kev running tirelessly, ben storming down the left, the first goal came from crabby who drilled a volley into the botton corner,1-0 trawden. half time came and for the first ten mins celtic were at 6's & 7's not being able to clear there lines stonemasons equalised with a sloppy goal when unmarked there forward miscued a shot past crossy. to trawdens credit heads didn't drop and they kept pushing, youngy was dominating midfield and defending well, as well as getting forward, there was a couple of more chances for celtic but it was kev who managed to lift the ball over the keeper from a long clearance, 2-1 trawden. good defending and saves from crossy ensured the win, my m.o.m was youngy, bring on rochdale in the next round.
