Here's the full list of our Carling Pub Football Awards winners for 2008. We were overwhelmed with entries and the shortlists that we passed onto our esteemed judges were much longer than we anticipated as we found it simply impossible to separate a lot of candidates.
In the end, we reckon the judges did a fine job in picking out the very best candidates, all of which showcased the dedication and passion that makes amateur football so special. So, drumroll please...
Matt Busby - With that name, the manager of Hinckley Sunday League team Enderby Social FC was always going to be a success... MORE
Shotts Thistle - Shotts were formed in 1999 and won the Premier Division for the first time last season. MORE
AFC Buck - The lads fought off competition from several other five-a-side teams across Britain to scoop this award. MORE
Matty Hall - Welbeck FC. Matty battled back from injury to help secure promotion for his side. MORE
Lakes United picked up this award after Administrator of the Year Lee Addison brought home a bizarre kit from Iraq where he was serving in the army...MORE
AFC Ravenscraig - Team spirit was the key factor that galvanised AFC Ravenscraig under new boss, Gerry Foster... MORE
Scott Osgood is always there cheering on Caledonian FC and sometimes even washes the kit! MORE
Graham Nixon is certainly a referee that commands 'respect' having officiated in Lancashire for nearly 20 years. MORE
