Muse and Stevie Wonder have been confirmed as the second two headliners at this year’s Glastonbury festival.

The Teignmouth trio will play the Pyramid Stage on the Saturday night, while Wonder is to perform on the Sunday night.

U2 were announced as the headliners for the Friday night in November last year.

2010 will mark the famous festival’s 40th anniversary and it has this week had its licence extended by another six years.

The Killers have denied rumours suggesting they are about to split.

Last month, it was reported that guitarist Dave Keuning had told fans at a gig in Australia that the forthcoming shows in the country would be their last “for a while”.

This came before the band had to cancel dates in Sydney and Perth due to a family illness.

But a statement insisted that this does not mean a split is imminent.

“The band apologizes to their Australian fans and asks for their understanding.

“The Killers still intend to perform at the Good Vibrations Festival’s Gold Coast and Melbourne shows next weekend.

“The Killers would also like to take this opportunity to assure their fans that any concerns about the future of the band are unfounded.

“They are all looking forward to some time off at the end of this tour as they have been on the road for a long time, but there are no plans for an indefinite hiatus.”

Finally, Rage Against the Machine have announced details of a free show to thank fans for taking them to Christmas Number 1.

The American band beat X-Factor winner Joe McEldery to the festive top spot after a massive internet campaign.

They said at the time they would pay fans back for their support and have stayed true to their word.

A statement reads: “Rage Against The Machine reached the Christmas No. 1 spot thanks to those that bought the single and now the massive ‘Thank you’ gig that was promised is finally here!”

“On Sunday 6th June, Finsbury Park will host the victory party to end all victory parties!”
