Jay-Z is hoping to collaborate with Lily Allen at this summer’s Wireless Festival.
The pair were at the Brit Awards earlier this week and Allen’s performance of The Fear impressed the American rapper so much that he tracked her down backstage.
“I spoke to Lily Allen. I’m trying to get her for Wireless,” he said.
“Hopefully that goes through. I bum-rushed them in the corner where they can’t say no.
“I know her for a minute. I think she’s a great artist I respect her. We just haven’t [collaborated] yet.”
Tickets for the event are on sale now. Pink, The Temper Trap and The Ting Tings will also be performing.
Meanwhile, Apple have announced that they will give away a $10,000 iTunes gift voucher to the 10 billionth customer of the download service.
The tally currently stands at 55 million and customers can enter the competition by either downloading a song from iTunes or filling in an entry form at apple.com/itunes.
The service was first released in 2001 and has gone on to become the dominance force in the download market.
To mark the 10 billion mark, Apple have also released the Top 25 songs downloaded through iTunes.
Black Eyed Peas’ ‘I Gotta Feeling’ leads the way, while there are also mentions for Coldplay, Kings of Leon and Lady Gaga.
