Tickets for next year’s Glastonbury Festival will go on sale at 9am on October 3.
The event takes place at Worthy Farm in Pilton from Wednesday 22nd to Sunday 26th June 2011 and tickets will cost £195 (+£5 booking fee and P&P)
Fans will be able to book their tickets by paying a £50 deposit either online at www.seetickets.com/g2011 or on the booking line; 0844 412 4635.
No further UK payments will then be taken until the booking site re-opens on April 1st, when fans will be required to pay the rest of the ticket fee. If they don’t, then the deposit will be refunded, minus a £10 administration fee, and their ticket then put forward to a re-sale in April or May next year.
U2 are likely to headline the event after being forced to pull out of this year’s festival due to Bono’s back injury.
