Noel Gallagher is set to play his first solo gig in March, it has been revealed.
The guitarist has kept a low profile since Oasis split last year but he will front two shows for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The gigs will be held at the London Royal Albert Hall on March 25th and 26th and are likely to be Gallagher’s only shows of 2010.
The Teenage Cancer Trust is holding a series of gigs at the venue throughout February and March.
The likes of Depeche Mode, Them Crooked Vulture and Arctic Monkeys will also be making appearances.

Kings of Leon picked up the Record of the Year Grammy award for ‘Use Somebody’ last night.
The band beat off competition from Beyonce (’Halo’), The Black Eyed Peas (’I Gotta Feeling’), Lady Gaga (’Poker Face’) and Taylor Swift (’You Belong With Me’) to take the prize.
Caleb Followill said: “I’m not going to lie, we’re all a little drunk. But we’re happy drunks.”
Kings of Leon were also winners in the Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals category, but the night belonged to Beyonce, who picked up six awards – a record for a female artist in a single night.
Finally, Ash have released the latest single in their A-Z series.
‘Neon’ is the tenth song in the initative, which sees one of 26 songs released every two weeks.
It was preceded by ‘Space Shot’ and will be followed on February 15th by ‘Command’.
Ash split with record label Infectious in 2007 after the release of ‘Twilight of the Innocents’, announcing that they will no longer release albums.
