Wakestock Festival is one of the coolest festivals going with a blend of brilliant music and waves. It brings together some of the best new acts and the world’s fastest growing water sport - wakeboarding. Set in the spectacular location of Cardigan Bay, North Wales, it is Europe’s largest wakeboard music festival and is growing year on year since it started in 2000.
Last year’s festival impressed fans with Ellie Goulding, The Wombats and Biffy Clyro headlining. This year, the likes of Calvin Harris, Dizzee Rascal, Ed Sheeran and Katy B will all flock to the country that brought us Gareth Bale, Tom Jones and The Stereophonics to play in the beautiful surroundings of Abersoch.
During the day, fans are treated to watching the world’s best wake boarders show off their skills, while the night time brings the live music acts to the stage to perform next to the beach which overlooks Cardigan Bay. Such a unique and dynamic event makes Wakestock one of the most exciting and attractive festivals for youngsters, especially those of a surfing and water sports nature.
