What is it?

The Great Escape Festival is still in its relative infancy with 2011 being just its fifth year. Over 300 artists perform at 30 venues in Brighton between the 12th and 14th May. Since the The Great Escape Festival began in 2006, The Cribs, Kasabian, The Temper Trap and Chase & Status have all performed and this year’s festival sees Friendly Fires return along with DJ Shadow and drum and bass sensation, Katy B. When you go to The Great Escape Festival 2011, your wristband allows you access to outdoor gigs, afternoon shows, club nights, after parties and much more.
