What is it?

The Big Chill takes place at Ledbury near Worcester, Herefordshire and combines a perfect mix of alternative, dance and chilled out tunes with hilarious comedy to boot to make this festival one definitely worth considering attending. Held on the picturesque grounds of Eastnor Castle, The Big Chill Festival was founded in 1994 when its owners began a series of ambient parties in Islington which then expanded in to becoming a festival in 1995. The Big Chill has since settled in its current location since the move there in 2003 and takes place in early August. Last year, Massive Attack and M.I.A were amongst the performers, The Big Chill 2011 line up features named of the highest quality with The Chemical Brothers, Kanye West and Rodrigo y Gabriela headlining.

The Big Chill 2011 will be running from Thursday 4th August to Sunday 7th August and is held at the charming Eastnor Castle deer park which is near Worcester in Herefordshire.
