What is it?

T in the Park is Scotland’s biggest music festival named after its major sponsor Tennents. Since 2007 it has been a three day event held in Balado, Perth and Kinross, Scotland bringing some of the world’s best live acts north of the border. Last year Muse, Eminem, Kasabian, Jay-Z and Stereophonics were just some of the big name acts that performed across T in the Park’s eight stages. This year between Friday 8th and Sunday 10th July, more big stars will perform with headliners being Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters, not to mention Pulp, My Chemical Romance, The Strokes, Plan B, Pendulum and Tinie Tempah – a very impressive T in the Park line up which is littered with big names. If you fancy a break from the music you could always take a ride on the Big Wheel which is on site.

Where & When?

In a disused airfield in Balado, Scotland which is near Dundee, T in the Park is one of the biggest in the UK. T in the Park 2011 will run from Friday 8th July to Sunday 10th July. Gates open for camping at 3pm on Thursday 8th July before shutting on Monday 13th July at 12 noon.
