What is it?

Sonisphere Festival is back for its third year bringing the best of heavy metal to the British shores. Held at Knebworth House, Sonisphere pretty much guarantees the gods of rock to perform in front of its 60,000 crowd. The festival actually takes place in various European countries – Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey, Spain, Sweden and Finland will all host it too. Last year Iron Maiden and Rammstein headlined whilst Biffy Clyro and Slipknot top the bill at Sonisphere 2011. They accompany Metallica who are back are Sonisphere headliners once again. If you need a breather or need to rest your neck from the head-banging, don’t worry, there are plenty of stalls, fairs, jugglers and fire eaters to keep you entertained in the meantime.
