What is it?

Oxegen is without a doubt Ireland’s biggest music festival and, if their record with winning awards is anything to go by, one of Europe’s best too having won at the Europe Festival Awards for 2010’s Best Line Up. So Oxegen 2011 organisers may feel a little pressure to deliver something special this time around – maybe they have with Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Blink 182, Paolo Nutini and The Black Eyed Peas already confirmed! These acts alone show the diverse quality of acts that perform at Oxegen which actually carries the tag of being a brilliant rock and roll show. Taking place at Punchestown Racecourse just outside Dublin, Ireland, Oxegen has had great bills since it began in 2004 – The Who, Muse and Kings of Leon have helped mark this festival as one of the stars of the calendar. 80,000 people attend all three days of the 100% Carbon Neutral event.

Where & When?

Oxegen 2011 is located at Punchestown Racecourse, Dublin, and runs from Friday 8th July to Sunday 10th July. The campsite will be open from 12 noon Thursday 7th July 2010 and closing on Monday 12th July 2010 at 6pm.

How do I get tickets?
