What is it?

Lovebox Festival is a three day event held in one of London’s oldest parks, Victoria Park in Hackney. It has been running since 2002 and is the creation of DJ Groove Armada. Lovebox originally started as a club night but has since evolved to host massive acts including N*E*R*D, Friendly Fires and, of course, Groove Armada in the open arena.

It’s not just the music though that makes Lovebox great, with plenty of performing arts shows, street art exhibitions, amazing food and drink and many more give fans a whole host of things to do and see. So why not check out Lovebox Festival in a summer of huge events across London this summer?

Where & When?

Lovebox Festival takes place in Victoria Park, Hackney in East London. The music kicks off on Friday 15th June with gates opening at 2pm and closing at 11pm. On Saturday 16th June gates are open from noon-11pm and noon-10:30pm on Sunday with various after-parties around London until the early hours.

How do I get there?

Going by car is not encouraged as there is no general parking in the vicinity of the Victoria Park site.

Instead, use public transport. The site is no more than half an hour from London’s main train stations and can easily be accessed by tube (Mile End), train (Hackney Wick) or bus (numerous services).
