The sister event of Reading Festival and now in its tenth year, Leeds Festival has taken the crown of the only rock festival to take place in Northern England. Sharing a line-up with Reading Festival means every year 70,000 revellers get to see the very best acts in rock, indie, metal, hip hop, punk, hardcore and ska across the many stages on offer. With a reputation for landing exclusive headliners each and every year, this year festival organisers Festival Republic have yet again landed three of the biggest names in music - Rage Against The Machine, The Killers and Metallica to rock the Leeds crowds this August. With over 150 acts spread across 3 glorious days, massive camping fields, comedy and cabaret, a full bill of late night entertainment and a hat trick of NME Awards for Best Live Event, Leeds Festival is undoubtedly one of the summer's heavyweight events. This year also sees a festival debut for the BBC Introducing Stage which will be showcasing the very best in new talent.
Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds on 22nd, 23rd and 24th August. The arena opens at 11am each day. Camping opens 8am, Thursday and closes midday Monday. Early bird permit holders have access to camping from 2pm Wednesday.
