THIS FESTIVAL HAS BEEN AND GONE

What is it?

Camp Bestival 2009

Inspired by the halcyon days of summers past, imagine the 1950s British Holiday Camp with a twist and you'll get close to what Camp Bestival is all about. Having scooped the 'Best New Festival' Award last year, Camp Bestival is brought to you from the brains behind the multi-award winning Bestival. With only 15,000 tickets on sale, this is an intimate event set featuring the biggest boutique campsite ever with Bestival Bluecoats at the helm leading everyone on a merry jaunt around the fun-filled site for three days of live music, DJs, comedy, spoken word and all sorts of entertainment for kids and kidults alike. Featuring a Sports Day, real life Jousting Knights on horseback, fancy dress, Cokney Knees Up, Insect Circus, Campfire Sessions and an Animal Farm, Camp Bestival really does have something for everyone. This year also features a special 25th Anniversary screening of 'Spinal Tap', River Cottage, the English National Ballet and a Silent Disco plus Let's Go Crazy and 100 free things to do for children.
