What is it?

Bestival is now well and truly established as one of the main players in the festival year with over 30,000 revellers descending on Robin Hill, a beautiful leafy country park in the heart of the sunny Isle Of Wight every September. With a hat trick of Best Medium Sized Festival Awards under its belt, Bestival has paved the way for creativity in the festival scene with live music and DJs just the icing in the cake of what's on offer every year. This year's event is 'The Year Of The Spectacular' with a 'Outer Space' fancy dress theme which will see thousands of astronauts, Martians, space ships and moons gather for the now-legendary fancy dress parade on Saturday afternoon. Previous year's special guests have included Grace Jones, The Specials and Madness so start guessing now who'll appear in the much coveted spot in 2009!

Where & When?

Bestival takes place in Robin Hill Country Park, near Downend on the Isle Of Wight on Friday 11th, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September with camping open from midday, Thursday 10th September.
