THIS FESTIVAL HAS BEEN AND GONE

What is it?

Bestival 2011

Bestival is the annual brain-child of respected DJ Rob Da Bank. Each year since 2004 he and his wife, Josie, organise one of the most unique of the UK festivals offering a intermingling of electro, indie, folk and dance music. But it isn’t just the tunes that spawn excitement – a cinema, cocktail bar, fancy dress and more ultra-cool things really make Bestival one of the most unique festivals. Last year, The Prodigy, Dizzee Rascal and Flaming Lips were the stars of the Bestival line up which in the past has hosted Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim, Soulwax and Pet Shop Boys. Bestival 2011 will feature The Cure who will headline an event which will also bring you Pendulum, PJ Harvey, Public Enemy and many more across various stages at the Robin Hill Country Park. Bestival always has a fancy dress theme and 2011 is no different; rock stars, pop stars and divas is how festival goers should dress for 2011!
