As you may have guessed from its name, RockNess is situated on the edge of Loch Ness in Scotland, an area of breath-taking natural beauty that has led many to dub Rock Ness ‘the most beautiful festival in the world.’ Rock Ness returns for its seventh year in 2012 fresh from having won line up of the year in 2010. Artists who featured in 2011 include Paolo Nutini, Kasabian and The Chemical Brothers while this year promises to be even better with Mumford & Sons, Ed Sheeran and Deadmouse all confirmed artists.
As well as 70 acts appearing across four stages, RockNess also features a cinema, silent disco, 24 hour cafe, fully licensed bars and food outlets and a boutique campsite where festivalgoers can put their heads down in their own luxury yurt, tipi or podpad.
