Cold Beer Amnesty appeared at V Festival in Chelmsford where festival-goers could swap any unopened can of warm beer for an ice cold can of Carling and enjoy the sounds of our Cold Beer Amnesty DJs for free!

With sunny skies almost all weekend V Festival in Chelmsford saw Muse blow away the V Stage crowd with their towering set and incredible light show while Essex favourites The Prodigy packed out the 4Music field for a run-through of their greatest hits. Sunday night's headliners The Verve battled through the rain with an epic version of Bitter Sweet Symphony as Kaiser Chiefs had the crowd singing along word-for-word to every song.
