Terms & Conditions

1. Only open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Coors Brewers Ltd, their agents, families or anyone else professionally connected with the competition, who are all excluded from participating.

2. No purchase necessary. To enter, log onto www.carling.com and complete the entry form or send your name, address, date of birth and contact telephone number plus your Blag entry to Summer Sundae Weekender Blag Competition, Carling.com, Coors Brewers Ltd, 137 High Street, Burton On Trent, Staffordshire, DE14 1JZ. The blag should be answered by giving the most humorous and original answer.

3. This offer is limited to one entry per person. The promoter reserves the right to refuse entries which are multiple entries from the same IP address.

4. Closing date for entries is 9am, Friday 1st August, 2008.

5. The Prizes: 1 x pair of weekend tickets to Summer Sundae Weekender (August 8th to 10th). One winner will win a pair of weekend tickets. No travel or accommodation is included with this prize.

6. All entries will be reviewed by a panel including at least one independent judge, and the prizes awarded to those entrants who have answered the questions correctly and, who in the opinion of the judges, have completed the Blag in the most humorous and original manner.

7. The judges' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

8. Winners will be notified by telephone by Monday 4th August and the winners will have 48 hours to respond, otherwise they will lose their entitlement to the prize and the promoter may re-allocate the prize as they so choose.

9. No cash or other alternative in part or full will be offered in lieu of the specified prizes. Prizes are not transferable. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoters reserve the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.

10. By entering the promotion participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules. All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions.

11. It is not the intention of this promotion in any way to encourage people to consume excessive amounts of alcohol..

12. Promoter may require the winners to provide additional information for age verification and insurance identity purposes.

13. The promoter accepts no responsibility for entries which are lost or damaged in the post. Proof of posting does not constitute proof of entry. The promoter reserves the right to refuse entries which are incomplete, delayed, altered, illegible, damaged or do not meet the rules.

14. Name and county of the winners will be available by writing to Summer Sundae Weekender Blag Competition, Carling.com, Coors Brewers Ltd, Trent House, 137 High Street, Burton on Trent, DE14 1JZ after the closing date for 28 days.

15. The promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate this promotion at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.

16. Prize winners may be required to take part in reasonable publicity as specified by the Promoter.

17. Copyright in the entries will be owned by the promoter. Entries cannot be returned.

18. These rules are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
