VINYL AT THE READY

Do you have what it takes to be Carling's Cold Cuts DJ??

Carling Cold Cut DJ

Congratulations to DJ Angelo and Half Man Half Mattress (pictured) who won our Carling Cold Cuts DJ competition to play a set Isle Of Wight Festival and Rock Ness. Angelo from Derby tore up the dance floor (aka the grassy field!) in our Cold Beer Amnesty area at Isle Of Wight Festival with his scratched-up, mash-up mix which took in all corners of rock, hip hop as well as indie and dance classics.

Grant, aka Half Man Half Mattress, set the crowds alight at Rock Ness' Cold Beer Amnesty playing a flawlessly mixed set of dance-floor bombs and classics creating the perfect party atmosphere as thousands of warm cans of beer were swapped for ice cold cans of Carling.

Both winners came down to the festivals along with 2 mates to enjoy Isle Of Wight Festival in VIP style!

Rock Ness 2008 took place at Dores near Inverness on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June and featured the best of rock and electronica including headline sets from Razorlight, Fatboy Slim, The View, and Underworld.

Isle of Wight Festival, voted 'Best Major UK Festival' at the UK Festival Awards 2007, saw headliners The Police, The Sex Pistols and Kaiser Chiefs rock the crowds at Seaclose Park on 13th to 15th June.

Carling's Cold Beer Amnesty

As the official beer partner to Rock Ness, The Isle Of Wight Festival and V Festival, Carling will be guaranteeing the perfect cold pint at every bar across the festival sites.

Carling stepped up the battle against warm beer in 2006 and after two successful years touring UK festivals, 2008 brings Cold Beer Amnesty to Rock Ness, The Isle Of Wight Festival and V Festival, Hylands Park this summer - bigger, better and colder than ever. Carling's Cold Beer Amnesty ensures that warm beer is a thing of the past by swapping ANY unopened can of warm beer with an ice cold can of Carling. Carling will be giving away nearly 35,000 cans of ice cold beer at each festival this year.
