Good on you for checking out our RSS Feed! This is basically just a stylish way of delivering the news that you want from Carling.com directly to you in a no-nonsense format.

Simply subscribe to the news page that you're interested in and you'll be kept up to date with all our regularly changing content, cutting out the need to trawl through the web looking for that breaking story.

Now for the techno bit. Some internet browsers, including Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, Opera and Safari, automatically check for feeds for you when you visit a website, and display an icon when they find one. This can make subscribing to feeds much easier. For more details on these, check out their websites.

The other way to receive your news feed is by downloading a free 'feed reader' - some popular readers include Amphetadesk (Windows, Linux, Mac), FeedReader (Windows), and NewsGator (Windows - integrates with Outlook). There are also a number of web-based readers out there too, including My Yahoo, Bloglines, and Google Reader.

If you click on the RSS button you can subscribe to the feed in various ways, including by dragging the URL (the webpage address) of the feed into your news reader or by cutting and pasting the same URL into a new feed in your news reader. Most sites, like us, offer feeds using a generic orange button.
