Wayne Hennessey

A product of the club's youth system, Hennessey's breakthrough came when he was loaned to Stockport in January 2007 and kept a record-breaking nine consecutive clean sheets for the Hatters.

Injury to Matt Murray gave the young Welshman the opportunity to taste first team action on his return to Molineux as he played both legs of the play-off semi-final against West Brom. Shortly afterwards he was handed a surprise international debut for Wales in their friendly match against New Zealand.

The 2007/08 saw Hennessey establish himself in the Wolves team, ending the season with both the Player of the Year award, as well as a spot in the PFA Championship Team of the Year. Last season him once again a vital member of the Wolves side as they romped to the Championship title.
