An experienced defender, Craddock signed for Wolves in the summer of 2003 for a fee of £1.2m from Sunderland to fill the gap left by the departing Joleon Lescott. Captain since the start of the 2006/07 season, Craddock has been an important figure for Wolves since his arrival.
Before his stint at Molineux, he was a crucial player for Sunderland in a six-year spell on Wearside. Signing from Cambridge for £300,000 in 1997, he made 146 appearances for the Mackems, including a title success in 1999.
The 2008/09 saw Craddock's contract extended but his involvement was stunted by a metatarsal injury on the opening day. He remained an important member the squad though, and was a key figure in the run-in as Wolves held their nerve to claim the title.
