George Elokobi

Signed from Colchester in January 2008, where the robust defender had caught the eye with dominant defensive work and powerful surges forward from left-back. The Cameroonian began his career in this country in non-league with Dulwich Hamlet, before moving to Colchester at the start of the 2005/06 season.

Early opportunities were limited but his real breakthrough came in the 2007/08 where he excelled for the U's, before transferring to Molineux mid-season.

Despite starting the 2008/09 campaign in team, Elokobi's season was short-lived as he suffered cruciate ligament damage against Ipswich at the start of August. His return to fitness will coincide with his team's return to the Premier League.
