Position: Goal
Height: 5'11
Weight: 12st 9lbs
Date of Birth: 1974-05-11 Worksop, England

Starting his career at Watford, Ward's first break came in a loan spell to QPR during the 1999/00 season. He impressed sufficiently during that time to earn a place in the Watford first-team on his return, as they were relegated from the Premier League after a single season.
The following campaign saw Ward establish himself in the first-team picture, but Gianluca Vialli's arrival in the summer of 2001 brought significant remoulding of the team, and a £500,000 transfer to Millwall for Ward.
Partnered by Matt Lawrence, Ward went on to build an excellent reputation at the New Den, playing his part in the side's run to the FA Cup Final in 2004, and playing in the UEFA Cup the following year. May 2005 saw a £1.1million move across south London to Crystal Palace, but his form faltered and first-team opportunities diminished.
He moved to Wolves in July 2007, playing 30 games in his debut season. 2008/09 saw him out of the picture however, as he spent time at both Watford and Charlton on loan.
