Christophe Berra

The highly rated Scottish international signed for Premier League bound Wolves in January 2009. The composed defender had debuted for Hearts of Edinburgh in 2003, but didn't become a regular until the 2006/07 season, playing 35 games. He signed a new five-year deal in 2006 as Hearts competed in the UEFA Cup and finished fourth in the SPL.

He played 15 matches in the run-in as Wolves claimed promotion to the Premier League and is likely to be a crucial figure for both club and country in the 2009/10 campaign.
